Snow will overspread the area tonight. The snow may be mixed with some drizzle or freezing drizzle at times. The combination of snow and temperatures near freezing will likely result in roads becoming snow or slush covered and slippery. The snow will diminish across north-central Wisconsin early Sunday morning, but will linger into the mid-day hours in east-central Wisconsin. A total snowfall of 2 to 3 inches is expected across most of the area, with lighter totals in the far northeast part of the state. The snow may mix with rain along the Lake Michigan shoreline at times, also reducing totals there. This will be the first snowfall of the season for much of central and east-central Wisconsin.
