Paul Pelosi's Attacker Sentenced to Life Without Parole |
David DePape was sentenced on Tuesday to a life without parole in prison for the attack he committed in October 2022 with a hammer against Paul Pelosi the husband of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The sentence was handed down by Judge Harry Dorfman after he dismissed calls for a retrial.
After a separate trial, the man sentenced to thirty years in federal prison after he used a hammer to attack the husband of the former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in their California house was sentenced on Tuesday to a life sentence without parole.

Hezbollah Rocket Strikes UN Headquarters in Lebanon—Multiple Injuries Reported |
The Israeli Defense Forces confirmed on Tuesday that Hezbollah had launched a rocket at the headquarters of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). UNIFIL reported that several casualties have occurred.

Earlier today, a report was received regarding damage caused to UNIFIL's Headquarters in the area of Naqoura, southern Lebanon. An examination determined that Hezbollah launched a rocket from the Hallousiyyeh El Faouqa area which hit the @UNIFIL_ Headquarters. UNIFIL reported a number of casualties resulting from the rocket impact on its headquarters. The Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to systematically violate international law, endangering both Israeli civilians and international organizations operating in the region... |
