At 339 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pulaski to near Brillion to near Plymouth. Movement was east at 20 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail are possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... Green Bay, Appleton, Manitowoc, Bay Shore Park, Kaukauna, Little Chute, Kimberly, Chilton, Pulaski and Brillion. People at Downtown Green Bay should consider seeking safe shelter. This includes the following highways... Interstate 41 between mile markers 143 and 171. U.S. Highway 41 between mile markers 172 and 179. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
