...SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING...
Light to moderate snow continues across much of north-central and far northeast Wisconsin this afternoon. The heaviest band of snow extended from Stevens Point east to the Fox Valley and north into Marinate and Oconto counties.
Visibilities in the heavier bands of snow will fall below one mile with snowfall rates around one inch per hour. As the snow tapers off this evening, there may be some freezing drizzle with some drizzle across east-central Wisconsin.
If you travel plans into this evening, slow down and use your low beam headlights. Allow extra time to reach your destination as roads will be snow covered and slippery. The latest conditions road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
