| | Breaking Updates | | Joe Biden Gives an Ultimatum to Greg Abbott, 'Pound Sand' Is the Proper Answer | Joe Biden, or more likely his handlers, levied an ultimatum on Thursday, demanding that Gov. Greg Abbott relinquish control of the "disputed" border areas Texas has been securing. That came after 25 states joined together to pledge their support to Abbott as he battles the federal government and its refusal to enforce immigration laws.
The date for the demand is set for Friday, January 26th, with the Biden administration saying it wants full access to Shelby Park, a boat launch, and the international bridge.
A federal attorney writes to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton that the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Biden administration, ending a temporary restraining order that prohibited Biden's border agents from touching Texas razor wire in and around Shelby Park. Now, the Biden administration goes into detail about the access it wants. It wants access to Shelby Park, also the nearby boat launch, and the international bridge.
Abbott should stand tall on this. He's got absolutely nothing to lose. What is the Biden administration going to do? Open fire on the Texas National Guard if they don't clear out? The federal government has no leverage here and no ability to exact its will. Texas is holding Shelby Park and the other "disputed" areas, and they have no obligation to leave. | It has a right to protect its territory. If the federal government refuses to do the job, that's on its leaders, not state officials who are just trying to do the common sense thing. | Read more updates here |

| | Vince McMahon Being Sued for Sex Trafficking by Former Employee Who He Allegedly Paid to Keep Quiet | WWE co-founder Vince McMahon has once again fallen under scrutiny for allegedly engaging in sexually inappropriate behavior with one of his former employees. Janel Grant, who previously worked for WWE, is suing McMahon and other individuals for sex trafficking and other offenses.
The lawsuit alleges that McMahon and another member of WWE's leadership trafficked, assaulted, and coerced Grant into engaging in sexual acts when themselves and other employees, according to a report. The filing states that Grant is not only attempting to get justice for her own suffering but also "to act for those who are afraid to speak out."
The lawsuit details several different inappropriate interactions with McMahon starting in March 2019. These include instances in which he greeted her in his underwear, touched her inappropriately, and used promises of promotions and other benefits in exchange for a physical relationship. On June 15, 2021, Grant claimed she was sexually assaulted by McMahon and Laurinaitis inside the latter's officer at WWE headquarters.
This is not the first time McMahon has dealt with accusations of sexual impropriety. In 2022, it was revealed that he had paid millions of dollars to other women who had alleged that he sexually assaulted them as well. The lawsuit will likely raise questions about the culture within the WWE.
There have been several people who have recounted similar stories involving McMahon or other WWE employees. | Read more updates here |
