| | Breaking Updates | | Segment on ABC Rips Skyrocketing Grocery Prices Since 2019 | ABC's "Good Morning America" (GMA) aired a segment on its Wednesday show in which co-anchor Michael Strahan and correspondent Rebecca Jarvis blasted the increase in grocery prices since 2019 — identical to the 30 percent and 50 percent figures I used in the "Trump" illustration. So, how many times did they mention "Biden" or the 46th president's disastrous policies that have led us to this reality? Zero. Musn't make Joe look bad, you know. Besides, maybe they "forgot" to mention him.
Jarvis visually demonstrated the hefty difference between the amount of groceries a consumer could buy for $100 in 2019 versus 2024, saying: The visual is what really creates the contrast. So this is 2019....This is what you got in 2019 for $100. Come over here. This is the current day — what you get. And you see, there's an entire section that's missing because you're getting about 30 percent less these days for your money.
Obviously, Jarvis was playing the "shrinkflation" trick that Buck-Passing-Biden tries to blame on "profiteering" corporations. ABC knows just as well as we do that Bidenflation is making it more and more difficult for millions of hardworking American families to make ends meet every month, or they wouldn't have aired the segment. | Read more updates here |

| | House Freedom Caucus Leader Begs Speaker Johnson to Help Him Save His Seat | House Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good is pleading with Speaker Mike Johnson for help in fending off a primary challenger backed by Good's colleagues. Virginia Republican Bob Good is a second-term Congressman who was elected Freedom Caucus chairman in January 2024.
He's facing a very tough primary challenge from state Senator John McGuire of Goochland County. Some of Good's colleagues, miffed by his role in the defenestration of Kevin McCarthy, are campaigning in Good's district for his opponent.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is among the lawmakers outside of Virginia looking to bolster McGuire's bid to unseat Good - and she isn't shy about her thoughts on her right-wing colleague.
Greene's vendetta against Good and his Freedom Caucus stems from the some 50-member group's vote to boot her from the group her behind her back. She was also aligned with McCarthy.
Good's seat is rated Solid/Safe Republican, so this permits a little intraparty violence with no real danger to the caucus, no matter how it falls out. Because McGuire has held state elective office in Virginia since 2017, Good has taken to labeling him as a swamp creature.
"This race represents more than just the 5th District. This represents defeating the swamp's efforts to strike back, and they have found a willing candidate in liar McGuire," Good told the crowd.
McGuire is a former Navy SEAL and a small business owner. The Virginia legislature is a part-time gig. Judge for yourself who is more swampy. | Read more updates here |
