A civil rights group is calling on the Department of Justice to intervene in Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s probe into allegations of ballot harvesting in three South Texas counties during the 2022 Democratic primary.

Agents seized 65 cell phones and 41 computers from the home of Manuel Medina, the chair of Tejano Democrats. Medina challenged this in court, where a judge barred device searches until a September 12 hearing.

Paxton’s office has been tight-lipped about the investigation, only stating that they are “committed to protecting the security of the ballot box and the integrity of every legal vote.”

On Monday, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) accused Paxton of trying to “suppress the Latino vote” by investigating volunteers, a mayor, the Tejano Democrats chair, and a Texas House candidate.

The Killeen Police Department is asking homeowners and businesses to join a new crime-fighting program that allows law enforcement to locate and access security cameras across the city.

Property owners who register their cameras with the department are not required to provide a live feed, although they can do so if they want by plugging a small transmitter into each device.

Called KPD Connect, the program has over 300 cameras registered so far and serves as a precursor to a new real-time crime center expected to be operational by December.

Texas is the seventh hardest-working state in America, according to a new WalletHub study that placed North Dakota, Alaska, and Nebraska in the top three spots.

The Lone Star State tied with Wyoming for the second-longest average workweek, while Alaska led with 41.6 hours. See the full study here.

The study, which evaluated factors like employment rate and share of workers with multiple jobs, found West Virginia to be the least hard-working state.

The good news is…

New research proves a potent deep-sea supernutrient tucked away 73 miles off the Antarctic coast is the key to improving your blood circulation.

It’s completely natural and safe, and today—it could be yours…
