Own The Flyover

How We Finish This Year Will Define the Next One

Today is the final day of 2025.

And how we finish this year will dictate how we start the next.

For decades, legacy media decided what Americans read, watched, and believed. They chased clicks. They elevated celebrity "journalists." They blurred the line between reporting and opinion to push a political agenda—and then wondered why trust collapsed.

2025 was the year readers began choosing something different.

The Flyover's growth didn't explode because of outrage or agenda.
It grew because millions of Americans are hungry for:

  • Facts over spin
  • Reporting over opinion
  • Common sense over political agendas

As we head into 2026, we're sending a clear message:

The Flyover is going to be the No. 1 source of unbiased, fact-first, common-sense news in America.

And the reason won't be corporations.
It won't be political donors.
It will be reader-owners.

Article Icon 1Man Accused of Attempted ISIS Support

A 21-year-old Midlothian man was arrested last week after he allegedly provided bomb-making materials to an undercover FBI agent he believed to be associated with the ISIS terrorist group.

According to the Department of Justice, John Michael Garza Jr. met the undercover agent last Monday to provide components for making a bomb, promising to send the ISIS "brother" a video with instructions on how to assemble the materials.

Garza is also accused of sending the agent cryptocurrency payments to purchase weapons. Federal authorities were alerted to Garza's alleged sympathies in October, when a New York Police Department employee flagged a social media account that engaged with ISIS-produced propaganda.

Attorney General Pam Bondi praised the FBI's work in apprehending Garza. "Anyone who tries to commit violence on ISIS's behalf will be found, arrested, and prosecuted," she said. "You cannot hide from us."

Article Icon 1Texas Getting $1.4B in Rural Health Care Funding

Texas is slated to receive $1.4 billion in federal funding over the next five years from the Rural Health Transformation Program, a $50 billion initiative authorized by Congress last summer to provide support for rural hospitals and clinics across the country.

While the initial allocation of $281.3 million is the largest among all states, the per capita rate for rural county residents—about $60—is the lowest. Approximately 80% of the 254 counties in Texas are considered rural, and more than half of the 82 facilities in those counties are at risk of closure.

Half of the program's funding is distributed equally, while the remainder is allocated based on a scoring system that considers each state's rural population, policy actions, and ideas proposed in their applications. Texas is receiving about $81 million more than requested during the first year of the program.

"Rural Texans across the state will benefit from this historic federal investment," Gov. Greg Abbott said. "We will strengthen our rural hospitals, expand access to critical mental and physical health care, and help reduce chronic disease through wellness and nutrition initiatives."
