Special Weather Statement issued January 21 at 8:46PM CST by NWS GreenBay

...LIGHT SNOW LIKELY TO RESULT IN SLIPPERY ROADS OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING...
A band of light snow will move across the area overnight. Around an inch of accumulation is expected at most locations. The snow will move through quickly, and should diminish to flurries or end across most of the area by daybreak Saturday. The exceptions will be in the Lake Superior snowbelt and along the Door peninsula where it could linger a little longer.
Pavement temperatures will remain very cold due to the recent cold snap, limiting the effectiveness of melting agents. As a result, slippery travel conditions are anticipated overnight and Saturday morning.
If traveling overnight or early Saturday morning, be sure to plan on needing a little extra time to reach your destination. Drive with extra caution. Be especially careful near intersections where the light snow could get compressed down into a layer of glare ice.
