The combination of temperatures dropping below zero, and northwest winds of 5 to 15 mph will produce wind chill readings of 10 to near 20 below zero late this evening into Friday morning. Winds will ease a bit later tonight to around 5 mph as temperatures fall, so the strongest winds are not expected to coincide with the coldest temperatures. Wind chill readings this low can produce frostbite within 30 minutes on exposed skin.
