Half a Million Israelis Protest in Streets

Half a million protesters took to the streets of Tel Aviv and across Israel Sunday night, demanding a cease-fire agreement and the release of the remaining hostages held by Hamas.

The demonstration followed the recovery of six hostages' bodies from Gaza tunnels by the Israel Defense Forces.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized to the hostages' families, saying, "We were close, but we did not succeed."

President Joe Biden confirmed that negotiations for a cease-fire and hostage release are ongoing, with U.S. coordination involving Qatar and Egypt.

On Monday, Hamas released a propaganda video showing Eden Yerushalmi, who was kidnapped on Oct. 7. Her body was among those recovered and buried on Sunday.

U.S. Seizes Maduro's Luxury Jet

The U.S. government seized a luxury jet used by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on Monday in the Dominican Republic, alleging it was smuggled out of the U.S. in violation of sanctions.

The Dassault Falcon 900EX was transferred to federal custody in Florida shortly after its seizure.

U.S. officials claim the plane, valued at $13 million, was illegally purchased through a shell company by Maduro's associates and used for his benefit.

Venezuela called the seizure an act of "piracy," while U.S. officials warned against using illegally acquired aircraft.

'Lifetime' Cruise Stuck in Belfast for 3 Months

A luxury cruise promising a 3 ½-year world voyage has been stuck in Belfast, Northern Ireland, along with all its passengers, for three months due to mechanical issues.

The cruise ship Villa Vie Residences' Odyssey, offering cabins priced between $99,999 and $899,000, has left customers who invested heavily in the trip frustrated and uncertain.

Many sold homes and quit jobs to embark on this "lifetime" journey, which was set to visit 425 ports across 147 countries. Here's photos of the ship from the company's promotional material.

Despite the setbacks, CEO Mikael Petterson said he's optimistic about the cruise's future and expects the ship to launch by the end of next week.
