Special Weather Statement issued January 05 at 5:58AM CST by NWS GreenBay

...SNOW WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE...
At 550 am, radar indicated a large area of snow across central and northern Wisconsin. The snow was generally light, and there were still a few holes in the area of snow. Little change in this situation is anticipated in the next few hours, so most roads will remain snow covered and slippery.
Winds were fairly light early this morning, but should gradually increase during the morning hours. That may result in some blowing and drifting of the snow by late morning and into the afternoon-- especially in open areas.
Roads will be snow covered and slippery for the morning commute.
Be sure to allow some extra time to brush off your vehicle if necessary, and to account what will probably be a slower than normal trip to work or school.
