The combination of the recent snowfall, and south winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 25 to 40 mph will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow this afternoon into this evening. Rural or open areas will be most susceptible to the drifting snow which will result in snow covered and slippery spots on roads and bridges. Motorists should be prepared for locally hazardous driving conditions into this evening.
