...SNOW OVERSPREADING THE AREA TONIGHT, THEN WINDY WITH PERIODS OF SNOW ON WEDNESDAY...
.A strengthening low pressure system will slowly track across the area tonight and Wednesday morning, then shift into northern Lower Michigan Wednesday afternoon. Snow from the system will overspread the area tonight and continue into Wednesday. Winds will also increase considerably on Wednesday, resulting in some blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility.
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6 PM CST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 to 40 mph on Wednesday.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and northeast Wisconsin.
* WHEN...From Midnight tonight to 6 PM CST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will likely become hazardous. Blowing and drifting snow could significantly reduce the visibility in open areas on Wednesday. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday morning and afternoon commutes.
