You didn't ask, but I figured I'd share mine anyway.
My New Year's resolution for 2026 is pretty simple:
Be a better human.
Be a better boss.
Be a little more patient.
A little more present.
Nothing dramatic.
No "new me."
Just… better than last year.
This time of year, everyone's talking about goals.
Big ones. Loud ones.
Wake up earlier.
Work harder.
Fix everything at once.
And I get it - ambition is a good thing.
But if I'm being honest, most of the meaningful stuff in life doesn't come from huge overnight changes.
It comes from small decisions that make everyday moments a bit easier… a bit more enjoyable.
That's why certain customer stories really stick with me.
Chris sent us a message not long ago.
He's a grandfather who travels to see his grandkids.
Something he loves doing.
Something that matters to him.
But over time, neck discomfort started getting in the way.
Long flights became something to "get through" instead of enjoy.
He tried different solutions.
Most didn't work.
Some made things worse.
Then he found FlyHugz.
And what stood out to me wasn't that he talked about features or materials.
It was this part:
He said he could finally travel to see his grandkids without discomfort or fear of strain.
That line hit me.
Because that's the real goal, isn't it?
Not optimization.
Not perfection.
Just being able to show up - comfortable enough to enjoy the moment you're actually there for.
That's what I'm trying to focus on this year.
Less rushing.
Less fixing.
More appreciating the fact that we get to do these things at all.
Travel.
Time with family.
Moments that don't need improving - just experiencing.
If your New Year's resolution feels small…
If it's something like "feel a bit better," "stress a bit less," or "be more present"…
I think you're doing it right.
Thanks for being here with us.
And thanks for being part of the FlyHugz story - it genuinely means more than you probably realize.
Hope you're enjoying the start of the year, wherever you are.
