Although the heaviest precipitation has moved off to the northeast, area roadways could still be slippery northeast Wisconsin overnight. Road reports across the area indicate roads were generally still snow or ice covered and slippery due to the recent snow and sleet. In addition, gusty northerly winds of 15 to 25 mph could cause blowing and drifting of the newly fallen snow. Temperatures well below freezing will also likely hamper the efforts of highway crews to treat the roads.
