Although the heaviest precipitation has moved off to the northeast, area roadways could still be slippery across central, east-central Wisconsin, and the lakeshore this evening. Some light snow is possible this evening, with little additional accumulation expected. Road reports across the area indicate roads were generally still snow or ice covered and slippery due to the recent snow and sleet. Temperatures well below freezing are also likely hampering the efforts of highway crews to treat the roads.
