Special Weather Statement issued February 25 at 3:20AM CST by NWS GreenBay

...LAKE-ENHANCED SNOW SHOWERS WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS EARLY THIS MORNING...
Lake-enhanced snow showers will impact the lakeshore counties until 6 am or 7 am. The snow showers will be moderate to heavy at times from Whitefish Dunes State Park to Sturgeon Bay, Algoma, Kewaunee, Two Rivers and Manitowoc through about 5 am, with snowfall rates around an inch an hour.
Early morning travelers should anticipate visibilities as low as 1/4 to 1/2 mile in snow through 5 am. Even though the snow will be tapering off toward the beginning of the morning commute, roads will remain snow covered and hazardous, so motorists should use caution.
