Freezing drizzle, scattered light snow showers and falling temperatures will result in slippery roads tonight. The wintry precipitation will taper off from west to east during the late evening and early overnight hours. Additional ice and snow accumulations are expected to be light. Falling temperatures will result in melting agents becoming less effective for treating roads later tonight, so hazardous driving conditions will persist, even after the wintry precipitation has ended. Motorists should be prepared for slippery roads conditions through the night.
